st. nicholas day

To celebrate St. Nicholas Day, we decided to make gingerbread houses. The plan is to give these gingerbread houses to some "special" friends. Their St. Nicholas Day gifts were things that they could share with others. (not to be hoarding gifts, buy sharing the joy with others...).

Don't be confused, this isn't out of the box. Connor made his house look just like the picture on the box! (minus the purple Christmas tree, I did that)

I have to admit I really wasn't looking forward to this activity. I haven't had really any experiences with gingerbread houses where they actually stayed in one piece. This year the icing must have had glue in it!
