It was in the low 70s all weekend. I am really looking forward to a weekend where we can go lounge at the pool all day and get out of this house! We decided to camp out in the backyard on Saturday night. I can count my camp outs on one hand for my entire life. Camping isn't something I exactly jump at the offer to go do but the kids are really excited to go somewhere and camp this summer. We gave it a test run. Everyone except Connor ended up on the air matress with me. Parker went to bed sometime around midnight after jumping on everyone like a mad man. Maggie slept out there to to guard us from any backyard intruders.
The sun woke us up around 6am. We ate breakfast and got ready for church. Today, Josalyn sang a solo. It was beautiful.
After church and a little bit a rain Parker tested out his new Power Wheels and Connor camped out in his room with lots of new Legos, thanks to Joyce's garage sale find!
Happy Father's Day! Nick had to work 12 hours so we all took a nap in his honor.
